Cable broadband

Cable broadband modems use Hybrid-Fibre-Coaxial cables (the same cables that PAY TV services use) to reach your home. Cable can also offer a better speed than the best ADSL2+ broadband service. The downside is that cable is not as widely available as ADSL, but geographical coverage is expanding all the time.

How long does it take?

Connecting internet to your home usually takes between 5 and 20 business days from the date your order is processed. This can take longer if you are installing ADSL internet because of the requirement to connect the phone line to the home first. Cable internet can usually be installed more quickly.


How does it work?

Nextelle will confirm the plan you would like, your move date, and other necessary information and then lodge the request with the supplier.

We check with them to confirm receipt of your order, and at that time - send you further information including your order number, as well as details regarding what you need to do (for installations, delivery of kit etc).
